Human. Science officer on the U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701-D, a specialist in vulcanology and geomechanics. Alans was assigned to Wesley Crusher‘s team, which was studying the Selcundi Drema star system.[1] Portrayed by Whitney Rydbeck.
