Bailey, David

David Bailey was a young, newly-promoted lieutenant when Dr. McCoy told Enterprise Captain Kirk that he thought Bailey was not ready for bridge duty. His concern was justified when Bailey panicked while the ship was held powerless by a vessel from the First Federation.
Bailey was relieved, but asked permission to serve at his station during what he thought would be the starship’s final moments. Bailey volunteered to be part of a cultural exchange program.[1] Portrayed by Anthony Hall.
