Baris, Nilz

Baris was sent from Earth to Deep Space Station K-7 to oversee the development project for Sherman’s Planet in 2267. In that capacity, he summoned the U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701 to protect several storage containers of a valuable grain, quadrotriticale. It was soon discovered that his assistant, Arne Darvin, was actually a Klingon spy who had poisoned the grain.^{[1, 2]} Portrayed by William Scallert.
