Ambassador class.1 Made first contact with the Zakdorn while on the Coreward Frontier Survey Initiative.3 Lieutenant Thomas Riker was assaigned to the Gandhi in 2369 after being rescued from Nervala IV, just before the ship departed for a terraforming mission in the Lagana sector.1 Thomas Riker later deserted his post on the Gandhi to become a member of the Maquis.2
