Captain Kirk is resurrected, courtesy of the Borg. His return to life is the center of a Romulan plot to destroy the Federation along with the collective by turning him into a killing machine. His target? Jean-Luc Picard. Picard, with his expansive knowledge of the Borg, is on a secret mission to infiltrate a cube and stop an invasion.
