U.S.S. Intrepid NCC-1851

The Constitution class Starship Intrepid, like her predecessor, the U.S.S. Intrepid NCC-1631, was crewed entirely by Vulcans. The vessel was captured by Romulan forces seeking to obtain Vulcan brain cells for genetic experimentation in an attempt to gain the mental powers of their Vulcan cousins. The ship and crew were rescued by the U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701 with the aid of the Romulan warbird Bloodwing.^[1]
