The Kl’sarza class, known as the D-16 to Starfleet, was named for a Klingon word meaning “swift wind,” and was produced at Iosia from 2246-2268. Of the 192 constructed by 2281, 27 were in reserve fleets, 123 had been destroyed, eleven had been captured (six by Starfleet), eight were listed as missing, three had been scrapped, 16 had been sold to prominent houses within the Empire, and 4 had been sold to private interests within the Triangle.[1]
