Pharos
Pharos (EV MVL #2)
Located within the Marrat Nebula, Pharos was a source of vast deposits of extremely pure dilithium, which threatened to spark an interstellar war. Rather than let the dilithium fall into the hands of the Klingons, Captain Pike set off a chain reaction beneath the planet’s surface that destroyed the dilithium.[1]
