With the future of the U.S.S. Enterprise at stake, Data must save a dying planet!

Investigating a strange nebula, the crew discovers a heavily damaged generational ship in danger of killing everyone aboard. The ship originates from a planet in the heart of the phenomenon, and the dust surrounding the planet and the region appears to be the result of rampant polluting of the atmosphere. Generations before, the inhabitants of the planet stopped their polluting ways, but the atmosphere continued to deteriorate. Now the few scattered and struggling survivors hope that the Enterprise can solve their dilemma.
