For almost a century, a colony from the planet Chrellkan IV has had peaceful relations with its mother world. When rebels take over the colony, the Spock and McCoy beam down, only to be taken as prisoners. When the ship’s sensors in orbit register their deaths, Kirk must set his grief aside and handle the dispute without his two best friends and advisors.
