Tyler, Jose
Human helmsman of the U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701 under the command of Captain Pike. Brash and impetuous, Tyler’s hand was bandaged during an encounter with the Talosians, as he was one of seven injured during an incident on Rigel VII two weeks earlier.[1]
Tyler served with Captain April aboard the U.S.S. Tiberius, then the Enterprise, before command of the vessel was transferred to Captain Pike.[2] Name is from the script. Portrayed by Peter Duryea.
