Neelix knows of a planet that has an abundance of Blort roots, which can supplement the ship’s dwindling food supply. When Janeway and her crew land on the planet, they discover ruins of an ancient culture. The current inhabitants consider the area sacred, but are willing to let the crew take what they need. One by one, the crew succumbs to deep comas, and Neelix is not to blame!
